Questions owners ask before they buy
Short answers, all on one page. If yours isn't here, ask it on the 20 minute call.
Price and contract
How much does it cost?
$299 a month. That's the only price. There's no setup fee and no bigger plan to upgrade to.
What do I get for $299?
Seven services, all in the one price: a website we build and run, google search setup, missed-call text back, follow-up texts, booking calendar, review requests and text campaigns. The pricing page has the details.
Is there a contract?
No. It's month to month. You can cancel from the app whenever you like, and the service runs to the end of the month you've paid for. Nobody calls to talk you out of it.
What happens if I cancel?
The number, the website, the domain we registered for you and the texts all stop. They're the service, so nothing transfers when it ends. Better you hear that now than find out later.
Do you charge for changes?
No. Send us new photos or new hours and we update the site. That's part of the monthly price.
Getting set up
How long does setup take?
About a week. We build it, you look at it, and we change anything you want changed before it goes live.
What do you need from me?
One short form with your logo, your services, your hours, the area you serve and any photos you have. Then 20 minutes on each of two calls: the first one, and a walk-through on launch day.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can send a text message, you can run it. On launch day we show you the two buttons you'll actually press.
Do I have to download an app?
There's nothing to find in an app store. We text you a link, and the app goes on your phone's home screen from there.
What happens on the 20 minute call?
You watch a missed call get a text back on a real phone, and you ask whatever you want. If it isn't a fit for your business, we'll tell you on the call.
Who will I be dealing with?
The people who build it. There's no account manager and no ticket queue.
Your number and the texts
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Your cell stays your cell. We set up a separate local business number that works alongside it.
How fast does a missed caller get a text?
Within seconds of the missed call. It comes from your business number and reads like a text from you.
Will my texts actually get delivered?
We register your business number with the phone carriers in your business name. That registration is what gets texts from a business delivered.
Can my customers stop the texts?
Yes. Anyone can reply STOP and the texts from your number stop. HELP gets them our contact details. We don't buy phone lists, and we don't text numbers nobody gave us. The text message terms have the details.
Can I get my lead alerts by email instead?
Yes. Lead alerts can come to your phone as texts. Turn on text alertsIf you'd rather not, they come by email. The service is the same either way.
Your website and Google
What if I already have a website?
Bring it up on the call. If yours is doing its job, we'll say so.
What if I already own my domain name?
You keep it. We point it at the site we build, and your email on that domain keeps working. If you leave, we take our settings off it.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?
No. If you have one, we work with it. If you don't, we set one up with you. See the Google setup
Will this get me to the top of Google?
Nobody can honestly promise that. We build your site so Google can read it properly. Where you rank after that is Google's call.
Do you run ads?
No. We don't run ads and we don't sell leads. It works on the calls and messages you already get.
Is it right for my business?
Which businesses is this for?
Small businesses in every industry. There are pages for contractors, restaurants, education, salons and barbers and auto repair, and it works the same way for any other business where people call to buy, book or enroll.
When is it the wrong thing to buy?
When nobody calls your business yet. It works on the calls and messages you already get, so spend the money getting your name out first. Come back when the phone rings more than you can answer it.
How do I know your numbers are real?
Every number we use is on our proof page with the study it came from, next to the popular ones we refuse to use.
Can I see a site you've built?
Yes. Our work has five working example sites you can click into. They're demonstration businesses, so the phone numbers on them aren't real.
Still have a question?
Ask it on the 20 minute call, while you watch a missed call get a text back.
